Lynda Wilson has graciously allows us to post the following data on the Collett Cemetery in Cherokee County. Please note that Lynda retains her copyright on the data.
Location: Take Main Street through Andrews, NC and turn right onto Junalaska Road (State Road 1505). About a mile down the road on the left is Collett Creek Road (State Road 1506) (sign might be missing). Take Collett Creek and you will quickly come to a curve to the left (not even a quarter of a mile). On that curve on the right hand side of the road is a driveway. Lately dirt has been piled up so it might be hard to find. There is a light pole there. Walk down the driveway about a quarter of a mile (I counted 470 steps). On the left will be a stone marker that says Collett cemetery and points to a path. Take the path about 137 steps and you will come to a fenced-in cemetery. There are 24 graves with headstones and one with a field stone.
