Location: Located on a ridge on South side of Highway #19 two miles east of Marble, N.C. Leave highway on south side near residence of Victor Raxtor follow field road 1/4 mile to Cemetery.

Note: I was looking at Western N.C. Genealogy page at the cem list. And found the Jonathan Parker cem. John Welch 1783 -1857 and Betty ( Elizabth) Blythe Welch 1795-1885 I'm told is also buried there. I have a clipping from a newspaper that was sent to me thats tell about a marker erected in memory of John and Betty Welch and placed at the grave site and vandals had destroyed it. But about three years ago a man that lives need the old cem. took a video of it for me and you can still read it. there is no date on the clipping or no newpaper s name. If you are interested I would be glad to mail you a copy of the cliping. John and Betty Welch were my third great grandparents.
