The following inscriptions were found in the almost forgotten cemetery located just inside the line for Nantahala National Forest in Cherokee county, NC. The cemetery is now hidden from view by tree and abundant undergrowth, but it is located off Highway #294 in the former Persimmon Creek Community east of Suit. There are numerous graves sites without inscribed stones.
